Preclinical duty today at German Doctors Hospital. first ever Hospital duty :) God Bless us. got my first Hepa B vaccine. didn’t hurt that much … O.o gosh, the things I do for Nursing … I think I’m getting used to being injected … two more to go then booster… 2 more months till CAPPING! :D no failing mark. oh yeah :)) “That’s what you call SERVICE”
-Ma’am Sia For our extension, we need to have atleast 10 clients. Thankfully, I already had ten clients after 30 minutes since we were stationed at the University Back Gate. However, she told us that even if we’ve already reached our quota, we still need to accommodate those people who wants to know their Blood pressure. I don’t know how many people’s BP I have taken. I stopped counting at ten. However, I can never forget the experience of taking the BP of people that I have never met. This is my first step to Community Nursing. Community Service. After the extension, I felt kind of happy knowing that I have given people initial assessment of their Blood Pressure. Even if I was already tired, I still managed to give them their BP and further assessed them if ever it’s high or low. I think this is what we call service. Helping others even if you’re tired cause the satisfaction that you can get is priceless. Ma’am, Sir, FREE BP :)
yay! Done with my 6-hours extension. technically, I only served for 4 hours. thank you to the good CI, Ma’am Sia! whohoo :D
